Sounds like a strange robot Luminator. Creating Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, dated 1954, this floor lamp by Flos brings the full weight of his years ... without feeling the weight. Daughter of his era, is a concentrate of pure design, an object that is wholly independent of the location and environment in which will be placed. Luminator stands out for its stark simplicity: three slender legs hold up a galvanized metal rod of iron enamelled glazed, on top of which a lamp reflector 200 W provides a source of indirect light. No speaker, no decoration, only one color available (anthracite): Luminator is aimed at purists who love the object itself more than its primary function. The essential and thin making it suitable to be "recycled" in a modern way, but thanks to the strong personality can fit into any environment.
