Alberto Meda

Born in Tremezzo (Como) in 1945, graduated in mechanical engineering from the Politecnico di Milano in 1969.
Technical director of Kartell in 1973, responsible for product development division and division complements Labware arredo.Dal 1979 freelance designer working with Brevetti Gaggia and since 1981 for four years with the design of Alfa Romeo cars
Currently carries out its activities' industrial designer for various companies: Alias, Alessi, Arabia-Finland, Cinelli, Colombodesign, Italtel Telematica, JCDecaux, Mandarina Duck, Ideal Standard, Luceplan, Kartell, Omron Japan, Philips, Olivetti Vitra.

From 1983 to 1987 professor of industrial technology at the Domus Academy
From 1995 to 1997, professor at the Graduate Course of Industrial Design at the Politecnico di Milano with a design workshop
From 1995 to 1997 Member of the Vorstand of Bremerhaven Designlabor
Since 2003 teacher at IUAV of Venice with a planning workshop in the masters course in industrial design in numerous conferences and seminars in Europe, Japan and the United States including Chicago, St. Louis at Washington University School of Architecture, Stockholm workshops with "And now ...", in Boisbuchet, Miami, San Paulo, in Ulm, Istanbul, Toronto, Mexico.
