  • 1979-85 Studied Design at Kingston Polytechnic, The Royal College of Art (London), and HDK (Berlin)

  • 1986 Opened Office for Design in London

  • 1987 Designed Reuters1 News Centre for Documenta 8, in Kassel

  • 1988 "Some new items for the home" exhibited at the DAAD Galerie as part of the “Cultural City of Europe” Program in Berlin

  • 1989 "A world without words" has its first viewing at the Conference on Pictorial Art at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan

  • 1992 Doorhandle Series 1144 , designed for FSB, awarded Bundespreis Produkt Design and iF "Top Ten" Prize

  • 1993 Develops the "Progetto Oggetto" concept with James Irvine and "The House of Cappellini" Exhibition at La Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan. Presentation of various projects for public spaces in collaboration with Andreas Brandolini and Axel Kufus as "Utilism International"

  • 1994 Guest of honor and solo exhibition at Interieur -94 in Belgium

  • 1995 Solo exhibition at the "Arc en Rêve" Centre D’Architecture in Bordeaux

  • 1996 "Lima" chair and "Bottle" bottle rack enter the MOMA permanent collection in New York

  • 1997 Hanover tram awarded iF Transportation design prize and iF Ecology Award

  • 1998 "A world without words" republished by Lars Müller Verlag, Switzerland

  • 1999 Exhibited at Reykjavik Museum of Art with Micael Young and Marc Newson. New monograph published by Editions Dis Voir, Paris. Editor of 1999 edition of "International Design Yearbook". Solo exhibition at Axis Gallery, Tokyo

  • 2001 Named a Royal Designer for Industry.

  • 2003 Opened a branch office in Paris -- Jasper Morrison Ltd. design for a wide-ranging client base, including: Alessi (Italy), Cappellini (Italy) Flos (Italy), Magis (Italy), Rowenta (France), Vitra, (Switzerland).

  • 2004 Began consultancies with Samsung (Korea), Muji (Japan), Ideal Standard (UK) and Olivetti (Italy).

  • 2005 Founded Super Normal with Naoto Fukasawa.

  • June 2006, First Super Normal exhibition in Tokyo.
